  • GENERAL

    Master of Business Administration is designed to develop managerial leaders who are equipped with relevant and contemporary knowledge and skills to sustainably manage organizations in relation to diverse stakeholders’ interests, possess strategic thinking ability and leadership qualities to steer organizations towards change and developments.
  • DURATION OF PROGRAMME

    2-8 Semesters (subject to current lesson plan and UTM academic regulations)

  • ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

    • An honours degree from UTM or other recognized universities or an equivalent academic qualification from an overseas establishment approved by the University Senate.
    • Certain professional qualifications will also be considered.
    • Minimum CGPA > 3.50 for fresh graduate or minimum CGPA > 3.00 with 2 years working experience or minimum CGPA 2.00 ≤ 2.99 with 5 years working experience.
    • Candidates from English speaking countries are exempted from the UTM English Language requirements.
  • ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

    International students who wish to enroll in the postgraduate programs at UTM must meet the English language competency requirements as stipulated below:
    • Malaysia University Entrance Test (MUET) with a minimum score of Band 4.0 and above; or
    • IELTS with a minimum score of Band 6.0 and above; or
    • TOEFL iBT with a minimum score of 60 and above; or
    • Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE), with a minimum score of 168 and above; or
    • Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 59 and above; or

    Admission through APEL (for Malaysian candidates only)

    • More than 30 years of age in the year of application; and
    • STPM / Recognized Diploma / A-Levels / Equivalent; and
    • Relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; and
    • Pass the APEL Assessment (Aptitude Test, Portfolio & Interview)

    This programme comprises of 45 credits.
