  Inverse Square law: The radiation Intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance. As the distance doubles, the area quadruples and thus, the initial radiation amount is spread over that entire area and is therefore reduced, proportionately.
  
  Focus Areas and Instructional Strategy
  
  Focus Area 1: Reinforce theoretical concept - Students are required to test and prove the inverse square law for gamma radiation.
  
  Focus Area 2: Data analysis - Students are required to analyze whether the experiment results obey the inverse square law.
  
  Instructional Strategy: Expository - Lab manual and experimental procedure is provided for the students.
